I Worked Abroad for a Decade to Build a Home — When I Returned, My Wife Had Started a New Life Without Me
I left Kenya as a young wife full of hope. My husband and I agreed I would work abroad so we could build a good home and secure our future. For ten years, I worked long hours, saved every coin, and sent money back faithfully. Every call home ended with promises of love, patience, and plans for the house we would enjoy together when I returned.
