I had always believed that life was supposed to be a struggle. Bills piled up faster than I could pay them. Work felt endless, yet promotions or recognition never came. Every effort I made seemed to yield just enough to survive, never enough to move forward. I told myself, this is just how life is hard work is all I’ll ever get.
