KUCCPS – Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has now made it possible for candidates to Inter-University transfer and Change of their Course online.

The KUCCPS Online portal is always open for KCSE candidates who have been successfully placed to various universities and colleges but because of some reasons wants to transfer to other universities. Or maybe the candidates wants to apply for a change of their course.

Below is a step guide on how to apply for the KUCCPS inter university transfer this year successfully today.

How To Apply For KUCCPS Inter-University Transfer:

Follow the below easy steps to transfer yourself to a different university of your choice in Kenya through KUCCPS.

First you need to visit the official KUCCPS website.

Visit KUCCPS website here: http://student.kuccps.net

When at the site, click on the Transfers Tab on top of the page and make payments to continue.

After making your payments,

Select the Programme you want

(Select the Programmes code in the inter-university field)

One thing to remember is that you will only be allowed to move to the next level if you meet the KUCCPS minimum requirements and cutoffs.

Now you will have to provide a valid reason for your transfer.

Select the reasons for Transfer option.

After selecting your reason, attach the document to support your reason and don’t forget to fill the reason for the transfer form.

Transfer Payment

You should now follow the payment procedure that will appear after completing all the reason for your transfer.

KUCCPS Payment. You can Pay via M-Pesa Paybill and enter the Mpesa Confirmation Code received by sms.

When you have provided the M-Pesa confirmation code, the KUCCPS system will validate your payment and the next step will load automatically if the payment was a success.

Now the university you are transferring to has the power to accept you in their institution or reject you.

After receiving the transfer letter, the institution will either endorse or reject your application.

If the university accepts (endorses) you, it means you are approved to join the the institution.

The university you are coming out from also has to successfully release you too for the transfer to be successful.

After being endorsed by both the receiving and the releasing institution, KUCCPS  will be notified that the applicant has been accepted to join the institution that you have applied to transfer to and that you have been released from the institution that you were initially placed in.

Once your application has been reviewed by KUCCPS and approved then issues Transfer letter.

You have now successfully transferred to the university of your choice successfully. That’s exactly how you inter universities transfer from KUCCPS. From there you can be able to change your course at your new institution.
