Safaricom offers the PostPay Packages in different rates according to the package plans.
Safaricom PostPay Package and plans are as follows;
- For Ksh. 1000 per month. You get 5GB, 400 Minutes, Unlimited SMS Monthly
- For Ksh. 2000 Per Month. You 15GB, 1,O00 Minutes, Unlimited SMS monthly
- For Ksh. 3000 Per Month. You 25GB, 1,500 Minutes, Unlimited SMS monthly
- For Ksh. 5,000 Per Month. You Unlimited Data, 2,500 Minutes, Unlimited SMS monthly
- For Ksh. 10,000 Per Month. You Unlimited Data, Unlimited Minutes, Unlimited SMS monthly

How to Join the Safaricom Postpay Plans:
There are two main methods of subscribing to the postpay packages.
The first method is through USSD short codes:
How to subscribe via USSD:
- Dial the USSD Code *544# using your Safaricom line (Sim Card)
- Select the Join PostPay option
- You will be presented with your credit limit, or enter your credit limit
- Select your preferred PostPay Package plan and accept the terms and conditions to complete the subscription
You will receive an SMS confirming that you line has now officially shifted to PostPay.
Here is the second method of joining the Safaricom PostPay Program.
How to subscribe to Postpay via MySafaricom App:
- Open the mySafaricom app and select the icon PostPay
- You will be presented with a predefined credit limit
- You will be prompted to enter your email address for billing purposes
- Select your PostPay bundle plan and accept the terms and conditions.
You will receive a notification that your line has been moved to PostPay.

Below is how you can pay for your PostPay Package via MPESA.
How To Pay Your Safaricom PostPay Bill:
- Open Safaricom SIM KIT
- Select M-PESA
- Select Lipa na MPESA
- Select the PayBill option
- For Business Number, enter: 200200
(200200 is the Safaricom PostPay Paybill Number)
- Enter the mobile number to make payment to
- Enter the amount you wish to pay
- Enter your M-PESA PIN and press OK
You have successfully paid your Postpay Package, the amount will update in about an hour after making the payment.
