Youth Summit 2023: Here Are Roads That Will Be Closed For 4 Days

To better the smooth operation of a significant youth summit at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC), drivers will not be allowed to access some roads in the city of Nairobi from Friday.

Adamson Bungei, the chief of Nairobi police, has announced that Parliament Road, City Hall Way, Taifa Road, and Harambee Avenue will be closed for four days.

“We kindly ask drivers to comply and pay attention to directions provided by ground-level police officials. It is also recommended that drivers choose alternate routes, he stated.

From December 8 to December 12, 2023, is when the event will take place.

With the theme “Youth Innovating a Borderless African Renaissance.” the sixth edition of the YouthConnekt Africa 2023 summit is expected to unite over 20,000 youth from Africa and beyond.
