How To Become A Safaricom M-Pesa Agent:

To become an agent, you are required to meet the following requirements;

  • Pay for the amount charged by the Safaricom MPESA Dealer to acquire the Sub-agent Aggregated Till Line
  • As an agent, you are required to maintain a minimum float of Ksh. 30,000 for the M-Pesa Till line
  • You will be required to provide your details such as your full names, national ID and contact information etc.
  • A certificate of good conduct and its ID of the operator should be provided
  • The details of the business including the name should be provided

After successfully acquiring your Safaricom M-Pesa Line, you are now ready to open your MPESA shop as a verified agent and start offering MPESA services to Safaricom customers.

The good thing about becoming an MPESA agent is the more customers you have the more money you make, and there is no limit to how much you can make as an agent, you can make as much as you want.

Safaricom also allows its MPESA agents to run other services together with MPESA.
