TIMs Account Requirements:
Before you can create your TIMS account, you will first need the following documents;
An Original National ID Card
Your mother’s first name
Your KRA PIN
Personal Details
An Active Phone Number

Log in to the NTSA Portal
Once logged in, hover over to TIMS and click on it
Enter your National ID’s Serial Number

Follow the easy steps below to start your NTSA Digital Driving License Online Application Process
- Log in to your TIMS Account
- Select the ‘Driving License’ option
- Choose Apply Smart Driving License
- You will be required to update your profile
- After updating your profile, you can go ahead and choose your preferred Collection Center
- Choose a collection center that is near you and submit
- The next step is to pay the amount you are required to pay as indicated
- Choose your preferred Payment Method and make your payments

After a successful payment, you will get issued with a payment invoice which you should print out
Select your preferred time and date that you will submit your forms and complete the application process
Remember to only select a time and date that is available and not the ones that are already booked, to avoid any inconvenience
After completing the process, a Booking Page will be displayed on your screen, you should print out the hard copy of the page for further use
For confirmation, you will be required to present/submit the Booking Page and the Payment Invoice (receipt) at the NTSA Offices that you chose.
The last step is to show up at the NTSA Office that you chose, at the time and date that you selected, with the Invoice, Booking Form and a Passport Photo if you have any.
If you don’t have a passport photo, a photo of you will be taken in the office.
